Kent founded Lighthouse to support businesses of all sizes with transformative accounting solutions, backed by nearly 40 years of experience as a financial professional.
His early experience as a private CPA brings an attention to detail and practical knowledge of everyday operations to any business problem. Kent’s deep understanding of the fundamentals is only trumped by his strategic vision for growth—one he cultivated in high-profile leadership roles. As Controller of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and later, Controller/CFO of United Access, he saw expansions on the horizon and made vital recommendations to ensure a smooth transition. As a result, he helped both corporations mitigate financial risk while they grew store locations tenfold and revenues by upwards of 200%.
He has a proven track record of creating efficiencies, reengineering business processes and driving innovation—all while keeping his principled values at the forefront. He’s passionate about developing lasting relationships that foster equally meaningful outcomes.
Kent also has a proven track record, in quite the literal sense, with USA Track and Field. His passion for the long jump, triple jump and high jump began during his time as a collegiate athlete and hasn’t waned since. He’s an avid outdoor enthusiast, taking on formidable hikes and backpacking adventures just like he takes on any business challenge—fearlessly.
